Yesterday I put the car on ramps in the driveway and used a can of engine degreaser on the bottom of the car after draining all of the oil. Today I added the oil and let it sit for about 30 min but did not see any oil leaking. I started the car for 30 sec and this is the only place I could see it leaking from:

That is the stock turbo oil drain line in front of the leak.

It appears to be leaking from both ends of the rubber hose.

I do not remember seeing that metal piece on my GST but its been a while since it was stock. Is it a filter...something I need to change/replace or do I just need to replace that short piece of hose and get new clamps?

I will run the car longer to see if its coming from anywhere else but that looks like it for now.

wow,fuckery.

That is the oil feed hard line to the turbo. a hose is not a proper repair. either a stock hard line or aftermarket braided stainless line will work. the fitting is an inverted flare, 7/16 me thinks.

gay fact is the 95/96 has a female flare at the hard line union while the 97 up has a male hard line union. the complete line will transfer but sub-sections will not matter.

When I talked to the guy at the Mitsu Dealership in Plano he said they were about $50 per side. Which is over double what it says above???

There is hose on the oil filter side as well but it doesnt leak. If its a 96 then the site has the wrong pic. Is that why the price is so different?

the hose on the cooler carries coolant.

the dealer can't make money by selling for the online price.

The coolant hose looks set up correctly (short piece of hose) but I specifically remember removing a metal line from my gst (because I stripped it at the housing)...this looked more out of place to me than the pic I posted above:

I found the prices I posted above by going through the Don Herring website so I will just order them online from them instead of over the phone if its gonna save me $70.
