I think it would be great if we had a "Project" section for the many of us who are rebuilding our DSM's in other-than-stock fashions.

Meh, people post there project's in there yes but it's not specifically for project DSM's.

Most DSM sites out there have their own dedicated section for project cars only.

Create a poll and if there is enough interest I'll create a Project section.

Am I the only one who loves looking at and getting ideas from DSM projects?

The problem with people adding there project threads to the "Show & Shine" is that you have to search through the threads a bit more to find anything good as far as projects go.

Hmm, true haha.
But I'm not talking about projects that are just adding a 16G and some other bolt on's.
I'm talking about big projects with nice goals.

You mean threads like these?

http://www.dallasdsm...?showtopic=2244
http://www.dallasdsm...?showtopic=3389
http://www.dallasdsm...?showtopic=4872
http://www.dallasdsm...?showtopic=2038

All of those were in Show and Shine.

How about some that aren't DSM specific:

Yes, but my point is they aren't in there own "project" section which would be nicer IMO.
That way you can just pick from the few threads for the section instead of searching around in the Show and Shine section.
That is all.

Like I said, put a poll up and if the people want a project section, I'll add it. No sense is bickering back and forth.

Or we could just change the name of the show and shine section... Regardless of what the section is called, won't you still have to search through the threads to find what you're looking for unless the op is more specific with his or her thread topic and thread description?

Thats what I was thinking Heath. It doesn't really matter what the section's name is, all the DSM projects going on around here are lumped in the Show and Shine section, would you be more happy if it was called the Dallas DSM Project section? Why not just quit being lazy and look through the threads?
